When cautioned by his advisor and professor not to pursue a career in history, Peter became a writer. He is a bachelor of English and History from the University of Colorado, a copywriter, an author of poems and short stories, and a songwriter. He has no qualifications as a historian except that he read John Julius Norwich's Byzantium from cover to cover and frankly that deserves an award.
